The girl’s career progressed swiftly and included numerous remarkable experiences. It led the athlete to successful results. Despite a significant number of defeats, Thea was able to achieve her major ambition and develop a full-fledged sporting career. After all, she has a lot of zeal and incredible willpower! Beginning of the journey
Thea was born on December 27, 1990, in Queens, New York. The girl, accompanied by her father and younger brother, had grown up watching professional wrestlers compete.
When Thea was in high school, she participated in both the swimming and baseball sections.
Beginning of the career
Thea began her athletic career at the age of seventeen. She made her wrestling debut on February 20, 2010, at the National Wrestling Superstars event. However, Thea was unable to achieve victory at the time.
Important event
Also, the beginning of Büdgen’s career was marked by participation in Women Superstars Uncensored. Despite her outstanding performance at this event, she was unable to win again.
Appearance of the ring name
Later, Thea was invited to compete in the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling tournament as a one-time participant. However, she was defeated.
Following that, Büdgen took the pseudonym Rosita. She initially appeared under it during a team match of eight female wrestlers. Then Thea, with a team of colleagues, was finally able to achieve the long-awaited victory.
Long-awaited victory
In February 2011, the athlete was given the opportunity to compete in the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship. On March 13 of the same year, Thea (continuing to perform under the name of Rosita) won the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship.
The trip
The end of August 2011 was remembered for Rosita’s trip to Mexico. There, she took part in the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre event. The athlete worked with local coaches. As a result, she was even offered a contract. However, she refused to sign it because she was already under contract with another organization at the time.
Debut
On May 14, 2011, Rosita made her debut as a member of Family Wrestling Entertainment. However, she was defeated in the match.
On May 6, 2015, the athlete joined Global Force Wrestling (GFW). She also won her first GFW match in June of the same year.

New contract
June 2017 was remembered for the fact that Thea signed a contract with WWE. At the same time, her work with the WWE Performance Center coaches began.
Later, Thea adopted a new pseudonym, Zelina Vega. On February 3, 2018, she made her professional wrestling debut under the new name.
Further course of events
Thea made her main roster debut on May 15, 2018. Then on July 31, she had her first independent match on the SmackDown brand, which she won.
On October 28, the athlete under the same pseudonym Zelina Vega became a member of Royal Rumble. Her ambition was to be able to compete in the title match. But fortune was not on her side. So Thea had been defeated.
