It was there that she began studying art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, in 1963, Irene abandoned her studies to participate in the establishment of The New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting and Sculpture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 1973, Irene graduated from Queens College.
